Website Design for a Biopharmaceutical Research Company
Oxford BioTherapeutics is a biotechnology company focused on developing next-generation oncology treatments through targeted therapies, including antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), immuno-oncology, T-cell engagers (TCEs), and radiopharmaceuticals.
The goal was to create a restrained, professional digital experience built around stakeholder-focused content and visually clear scientific communication. The hero illustration depicts a T cell activating after detecting a tumor cell, reflecting the company’s work on redefining the cancer–immune synapse and exploring novel immune checkpoint mechanisms.
A classic blue palette combined with clean 2D illustration systems helped translate complex technologies into an accessible visual language. Extensive infographics were designed to explain Oxford BioTherapeutics’ innovative approach to cancer therapies, while pipeline sections visualized the progress of internal program development in a structured and intuitive way.
Because the overall design direction was intentionally minimal and composed, subtle micro-interactions and animations became essential in giving the experience rhythm, depth, and a distinct sense of character.
A project where scientific precision and visual restraint had to work together—without losing clarity, credibility, or humanity along the way.
