All-in-One Physiotherapy Management Platform UI/UX Design

This project captures the complete end-to-end design journey behind a scalable SaaS physiotherapy platform built to serve every role in the ecosystem: clients, practitioners, staff, clinic managers, and admins.

It began with user discovery workshops, persona creation, and task analysis to deeply understand the needs, challenges, and goals of each role:

• Clients aiming for clear recovery guidance and progress tracking.

• Practitioners needing tools to manage appointments, create tailored rehab programmes, and maintain client relationships.

• Clinic Managers overseeing operations, staff allocation, and business performance.

• Staff members supporting practitioners with scheduling, communication, and client records.

• Admins managing platform-wide settings, subscriptions, and compliance.

From these insights, I mapped the full user journeys for every role — from initial sign-up to long-term engagement — ensuring each touchpoint aligned with both user needs and the platform’s business objectives.

I then moved into low-fidelity wireframes to explore layouts quickly, validate usability early, and spot potential friction points before they could affect the final product. These evolved into high-fidelity UI designs with a consistent visual hierarchy, accessible typography, and intuitive interaction patterns across all devices.

The design process covered every major features:

• Sign-up & onboarding customised for clients, practitioners, and clinics.

• Practitioner & service discovery with advanced search and filtering.

• Appointment booking with real-time calendar availability.

• Programme assignment & exercise library for personalised rehab plans.

• Messaging between clients and practitioners for ongoing support.

• Voucher codes & subscription management for flexible access models.

• Session tracking for pending and completed treatments.

• Profile management & recovery progress tracking for clients.

• Manager & staff tools for team coordination, calendar management, and communication.

• Admin dashboards for monitoring platform-wide activity, revenue, and compliance.

By following UI/UX best practices, including clear affordances, minimal cognitive load, and consistent visual language; this platform delivers a frictionless, scalable, and role-adaptable experience that supports every stakeholder while enabling operational efficiency and business growth.
