Scalable SaaS Healthcare App, Complete UX/UI Design
This project captures the full end-to-end design journey of building a scalable SaaS physiotherapy platform designed for clients, practitioners, and clinics.
The process began with user discovery workshops, persona creation, and task analysis to understand the unique needs of each role: clients recovering from injury, practitioners delivering treatment, and clinic managers overseeing operations. This research informed a comprehensive user journey map that covered every touchpoint — from sign-up and onboarding to ongoing engagement and support — ensuring each interaction aligned with both user goals and business objectives.
From there, I developed low-fidelity wireframes to explore layouts, validate usability early, and identify potential friction points. Once validated, these evolved into high-fidelity UI designs built with a consistent visual hierarchy, accessible typography, and intuitive interaction patterns.
The design process covered every major features:
Sign-up & onboarding tailored to clients, practitioners, and clinics
Practitioner and service discovery with detailed profiles and search filters
Appointment booking with real-time calendar availability
Programme assignment & exercise libraries for personalised rehab plans
Messaging between clients and practitioners for ongoing support
Voucher codes & subscription management for flexible access
Session status tracking for pending and completed treatments
Profile management & progress tracking to monitor recovery
Admin and staff tools for multi-role clinic management
By following UI/UX best practices, clear affordances, minimal cognitive load, and visual consistency; I created a platform that’s frictionless, scalable, and adaptable, delivering a seamless experience for all user types while supporting growth and operational efficiency.
