About this Service
Your business name is the asset. Most logo work buries it under a symbol that nobody remembers and that says nothing about you. A wordmark does the opposite — it makes the name itself the mark, which is why Google, Sony, FedEx and almost every brand you can name from memory uses one.
I'm Dil Nawaz, founder of The Lion Studios. I've drawn letterforms for 14 years — 1,600+ projects delivered and 355+ international design contest wins. Every wordmark I build is drawn and constructed by hand, letter by letter. Not a font with the tracking adjusted. No AI generation, no template libraries. Rated 5.0 rating reviews here on Dribbble.
There are two ways to build a wordmark and I'll recommend the right one for you. The first is a custom-drawn logotype, where every letter is constructed from scratch so the mark is unrepeatable. The second is a modified typographic wordmark, where I select a licensed typeface and rework the letterforms — often hiding a second idea inside a character, the way a coffee cup can live in the letter O or a building in the letter M.
How it works: we start with a conversation about your business, your market, and the feeling the name needs to carry. I sketch letterforms by hand, then construct them in vector on a proper grid so the spacing and weight hold at every size. I present three directions with the reasoning behind each. We refine your chosen direction and I deliver the complete file set. You'll hear from me within 24 hours at every stage.
