Real Estate & Marketplace Platform

About this Service

Buyers scanning a real estate or marketplace platform are doing real work, comparing prices, checking locations, and filtering out what doesn't fit. A slow map load, a filter that resets, or a listing page that buries the one photo they wanted to see is enough to send them to a competitor's tab instead of further into yours.

This package is built for that browsing experience specifically. We know the details that make filtering feel fast and a map feel like part of the product, not a widget bolted onto the page.

In the Package:

  • UX strategy for your listing data, filters, and browsing patterns

  • - Wireframes for the map/browse view, listings grid, filter panel, and listing detail page

  • - High-fidelity UI design for a combined map and list browsing view

  • - High-fidelity UI design for the listings grid, including card states for standard, featured, and saved listings

  • - High-fidelity UI design for filtering and search, including sort and saved search

  • - High-fidelity UI design for the listing detail page, gallery, and inquiry flow

  • - A responsive design pass for tablet and mobile

  • - Front-end development of the full experience

  • - Interactive map development, including custom pins, clustering, and sync between the map and the list

  • - Front-end filtering and search logic

  • - QA across browsers and devices

Process & Communication:

Discovery (Week 1): We map your listing data, filter logic, and the browsing patterns you want to support.

Design (Weeks 1-2): Wireframes into high-fidelity UI across the map view, grid, filters, and listing detail page.

Development (Weeks 2-4): Front-end build, including the interactive map and filtering logic, in step with design.

QA & Launch (Week 4): Cross-browser and device testing, a performance pass, and launch.

We run this as one continuous build rather than separate design and development phases, so the map and filters get tested against real interaction, not just a static mockup.

Tech Stack: React or Next.js for the front end, with a mapping library (Mapbox or Google Maps, depending on your budget and data needs) for the interactive map, built to connect to your existing listings data or API.

The Team: A product designer and a front-end developer work in parallel on this one, with our creative director focused on the map and browsing experience specifically, since that's where these platforms tend to succeed or fail.

Contract: A fixed-scope service agreement sets deliverables, timeline, and payment before we start. 50% deposit to secure your slot, 50% due on delivery.

Do you offer custom packages? Yes. If you need user accounts, saved searches tied to a login, or a full back end, tell us in the brief. We'll scope the additional work and quote it separately.

Concepts & Revisions: We design 1 direction for the core browsing experience, then refine it across 3 rounds of revisions. Extra rounds are available at an hourly rate.

Browsing that feels effortless comes from designing the map, filters, and layout as one system from day one.
